I have learned much from many along the way. One of my first of inspirational medical people was Dr Louise Kornman, who demonstrated to me the beauty of gentle kindness and wisdom in delivering medicine and working with colleagues.
I think the best kind of moment is when you help your patient find a treatment that actually works for them and makes a difference in their quality of life. Seeing someone struggle for example with heavy menstrual bleeding and painful periods, and then finding the right treatment that manages their periods well together, and they are so much happier, (especially when the journey to finding the solution has not been easy!) really makes my day! .
